PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — The 35th Annual Pensacola Crawfish Festival opened Friday at Community Maritime Park.
Due to the new location, the festival added over 30 local arts and crafts vendors, more food vendors and a new beverage booth and free parking. Arts and craft vendors are selling things from jewelry to home decor, to bows and paintings and artwork.
There is also plenty of crawfish! 16,000 pounds of crawfish straight from Louisiana boiled onsite. And if crawfish isn’t your thing, there is also typical fair food, seafood, Cajun dishes, just about anything you want.
A couple from Central Oregon came to enjoy the festival while visiting the area. "Blue Angels down here, the festival, gorgeous weather, couldn’t beat it. This is the place to be."
The festival runs Friday, April 26th to Sunday, April 29th.
